Beijing Day 3

Today has been a great day. The weather was much better. The sun was shinning and it was much clearer. The only down fall was the wind. We started off the day with a stop at Tian'anmen Square. It was amazing to think that we were standing in the same spot so many lost their lives back in 1989.




This group of soliders was there for a photograph. So we joined the fun and snapped a couple of pictures.



Everywhere we go there is excitement for the Olympics. There is so much construction going on to prepare. We don't see how they will get all completed.



After that we headed to The Forbidden City. It was a short walk from Tian'anmen Square.
